Disability Advisory Committee Releases Its First Annual Report
Members of the federal Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) hold a news conference in Ottawa to discuss their first annual report, which focuses on access to disability tax measures. The DAC was originally formed in 2004 and disbanded in 2006 before National Revenue Minister Diane Lebouthillier announced in 2017 that it was being re-instated. It advises the minister and the Canada Revenue Agency on how to improve services for persons with disabilities. (May 24, 2019)
