COVID-19: Canada RespondsQuebec Premier, Opposition Leaders Call for Adherence to COVID-19 Restrictions

In Montreal, Quebec Premier François Legault holds a news conference with the province’s opposition party leaders to give an update on the COVID-19 pandemic ahead of the holiday season. He is joined by Dominique Anglade (Liberal Party of Quebec), Manon Massé (Québec solidaire), and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon (Parti Québécois). In a show of unity, the four leaders urge people to comply with public health restrictions as the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Quebec. The province is recording a fourth straight day with over 2,000 new cases. (December 22, 2020)
