COVID-19: Quebec Announces New Rules for Christmas Gatherings – Nov. 24, 2020
In Quebec City, Quebec Premier François Legault provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. He is joined by Christian Dubé, Quebec’s minister of health and social services, and Dr. Horacio Arruda, the province’s director of public health. The premier announces that residents will only be allowed to attend two gatherings, with a maximum of 10 people at each one, during the December 24 to 27 period. He also discusses the state of contract negotiations with the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec, the largest nurses' union in the province. (no interpretation)
