Emergency Debate on UN Climate Change Report (Part 1 of 2)
MPs take part in an emergency debate on the findings of a recent report by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which warns that humanity must act immediately to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius and to avert potentially catastrophic climate change. The debate comes following requests by Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, and NDP parliamentary leader Guy Caron. (October 15, 2018)
