Alberta Premier Discusses COVID-19 Vaccination in Pharmacies – March 18, 2021
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney holds a news conference in Edmonton to provide an update on the province's distribution of COVID-19 vaccines through participating community pharmacies. He is joined by Tyler Shandro, provincial health minister, Jeff Leger, president of Shoppers Drug Mart, and Margaret Wing, CEO of the Alberta Pharmacists’ Association. On February 24, the province launched its system for Albertans aged 75 and older to book appointments at more than 100 participating community pharmacies in Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary.
