National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: 2023

Saturday, September 30 marks the third National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. CPAC will devote a full day of special programming that allows viewers to reflect on the experiences of Indigenous Peoples across the country and the long and continuing road to reconciliation.

Public hearings began Oct. 13 for the Public Order Emergency Commission -- the inquiry mandated by law to examine the federal government's use of the Emergencies Act in February to stop the blockades and occupations in downtown Ottawa and at several border crossings.
