CPAC is excited to announce the relaunch of the Today in Politics podcast with a new host, veteran Parliament Hill journalist Julie Van Dusen, behind the microphone.
“Julie brings 30 years of experience to the show, giving listeners what they need to understand what’s driving public policy and political decision-making daily,” says CPAC President and CEO Christa Dickenson.
Van Dusen spent three decades covering Parliament Hill for the CBC, reporting on every major political convention, election, leadership race, and First Ministers’ conference during her career. Fluently bilingual, she has been featured in several documentaries about scrums on Parliament Hill and was nominated for a CBC English Television award for her political coverage. Van Dusen left the CBC in 2020 to author You Can’t Write the Script, a book about her mother, artist and author Shirley Van Dusen.
Listeners can subscribe to the show on all major podcasting platforms starting today.
