CPAC Receives Parity Certification from Women in Governance

Ottawa, March 8, 2024— The Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) is pleased to announce that it has received the Bronze level of Women in Governance Parity Certification for 2023.  

This recognition is a testament to CPAC’s unwavering commitment to promoting gender parity and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

“We are honoured to receive this certification, which reflects our commitment to creating an equitable work environment where diverse perspectives are valued,” said Christa Dickenson, CPAC President and CEO.  “We recognize the importance of gender parity and are dedicated to advancing these principles within our organization and the broader community.”

Supporting women with career advancement, leadership development, and ambitions to serve on Boards, Women in Governance helps organizations achieve equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace with Parity Certification.  For 2023 Parity Certification, Women in Governance evaluated organizations based on criteria including governance and vision, collective enablers, and equity in the workplace.  

By securing Bronze level recognition, CPAC adheres to policies and procedures put in place to support women’s professional development and advancement.  This certification marks a key milestone in the organization’s dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity and supports democracy in Canada.
