2022 Royal Tour – Visit to Royal Canadian Geographical Society in Ottawa
The Prince of Wales meets with various federal and provincial dignitaries as he visits the Royal Canadian Geographical Society in Ottawa. The prince also meets with young women who have resettled in Canada after fleeing the conflict in Afghanistan, and with representatives of the 30 Birds Foundation program that aided their resettlement. The Prince of Wales also holds a discussion with participants of the Prince's Trust Canada skill development and employments programs, which support veterans and young people with a focus on green jobs. The prince and the Duchess of Cornwall are in Canada as part of celebrations marking the platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
