Quebec Public Security Minister’s Update on Provincial Curfew – January 7, 2021
In Quebec City, the province’s deputy premier and minister of public security, Geneviève Guilbault, provides details on the curfew, announced the previous day by the Premier Legault, aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19. The 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM curfew will goes into effect on January 9, 2021, for a four-week period. Only pharmacies and gas stations will be allowed to remain open after 8:00 PM. Those who violate the curfew could receive fines ranging from $1,000 to $6,000. (no interpretation)
