British Columbia Outlines its Back-to-School Plan for the Fall – June 17, 2021
At a news conference in Vancouver, British Columbia Education Minister Jennifer Whiteside outlines the province’s plan regarding the return to in-person classes in the fall of 2021. She is joined by Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia's provincial health officer, Stephanie Higginson, the president of the British Columbia School Trustees Association, and Andrea Sinclair, the president of the B.C. Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils. They announce that schools will return to normal in September, with the resumption of in-person classes and the end of cohorts or learning groups.
