Liberal MP Tables Bill to Give Privacy Commissioner More Powers
Liberal MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith speaks with reporters in Ottawa following the tabling of his bill (C-413) to strengthen the office of the privacy commissioner with new enforcement powers. The bill is based on recommendations from two reports made by the House of Commons access to information, privacy, and ethics committee, of which Erskine-Smith serves as vice-chair.
