Public Safety Minister Announces Changes to Gun Control Bill – May 1, 2023
Speaking with reporters on Parliament Hill, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino announces new amendments to Bill C-21, the federal government’s gun control bill. The proposed amendments replace those withdrawn by the government in February that would have expanded the list of banned firearms in Canada.
Also taking part in the news conference are ministers Gudie Hutchings (rural economic development) and Bill Blair (emergency preparedness). (no interpretation)
