Sustainable Finance Forum 2023 - Power of Finance

The 2023 Sustainable Finance Forum in Ottawa brings together elected officials, policy makers, industry and community leaders to discuss sustainable and social finance. In the opening session Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland delivers a keynote address on growing Canada's clean economy.

Her speech is followed by a conversation on the power of sustainable finance with Steven Guilbeault (minister of environment and climate change), Jonathan Wilkinson (minister of energy and natural resources), Harjit Sajjan (minister of emergency preparedness) and Helen Ng (United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction). Ryan Turnbull (parliamentary secretary to the minister of innovation, science and industry) moderates the conversation.( November1, 2023)
