Federal Ministers Discuss Health-Care Deals with Atlantic Provinces and Ontario

Health Minister Yves Duclos and Intergovernmental Affair Minister Dominic LeBlanc speak with reporters in Quebec City about the agreements-in-principle on health-care funding that have been reached with all four Atlantic provinces and Ontario. Canada's premiers have accepted the federal government's health-care funding offer that was presented at a meeting with the prime minister on February 7, 2022. The proposal commits to an increase of $196.1 billion over 10 years, including $46.2 billion in new funding.
