The announcement comes after a second member from Ford's cabinet resigned over the controversy related to the Greenbelt land swap deal. MPP Kaleed Rasheed, Ontario’s minister of public and business service delivery, resigned from his cabinet post and the Progressive Conservative caucus on September 20.
