Conservative Leader on Plan to Address Health-Care Worker Shortages
At a news conference in Ottawa, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre announces his plan to address the shortage of health-care workers in Canada. He says a Conservative government would work with the provinces to create a national testing standard for doctors and nurses that would allow them to be licensed to work in any province that adopts the standard within 60 days of applying. Conservative health critic Stephen Ellis is also in attendance. (March 19, 2023) (no interpretation)
