Bloc MP and Quebec Ag Associations Hold a News Conference – June 11, 2024

The Bloc Québécois’ agriculture critic Yves Perron calls on the federal government to enact its AgriRecovery framework to help Quebec farmers. Over the last few months, farmers in the province have been protesting against rising costs and heavy regulatory burdens.

Perron is joined at the news conference in Ottawa by Stéphanie Levasseur (vice-president, Union des producteurs agricoles), Catherine Lefebvre (president, Association des producteurs maraîchers du Québec), Pascal Forest (president, Association des légumes de transformation), and Guy Pouliot (vice-president, Association des producteurs de fraises et framboises du Québec).
