Conservatives Continue to Push PM Carney on Financial Interests – March 18, 2025

At a news conference on Parliament Hill, Conservative ethics critic Michael Barrett repeats his call for Mark Carney to disclose all of the assets that he put into a blind trust before becoming prime minister. Carney has defended his refusal to publicly disclose the assets, telling reporters in a press conference yesterday that he has followed all of the ethics commissioner’s rules surrounding conflicts of interest.
