At a news conference in Trois-Rivières, Que., Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault announces more than 560 hectares in the Mauricie region will now be protected by Nature-Action Québec (NAQ). The federal government is investing close to $5 million to support the project. Guilbeault is joined by Innovation Minister François-Philippe Champagne, Saint-Luc-de-Vincennes Mayor Daniel Houle, and NAQ executive director Pascal Bigras.
