Representatives from the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Health Coalition call on senators to pass the federal government’s pharmacare legislation before the upper house rises for the summer break. Bill C-64 is currently at second reading in the Senate, after being passed by the House of Commons on June 3. It would establish the framework for the first phase of a national pharmacare plan.
