Chrystia Freeland, the Liberal leadership candidate and former finance minister, visits a farm in Waterville, Quebec. She answers reporters’ questions about several issues including supply management, which she has vowed to defend, negotiations between Canada and the U.S., and President Trump’s tariff threats. She says she supports Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in his efforts to protect the Canadian economy, just as she backs today's announcement on the Alto high-speed train project.
