Minister Steve MacKinnon Announces New Interprovincial Bridge in Gatineau

At a press conference in Gatineau, Employment Minister Steve MacKinnon reiterated the Government of Canada's commitment to building a bridge in the eastern part of the region. He announced that the project to build a new interprovincial multimodal bridge linking Gatineau and Ottawa was moving ahead with pre-planning work by the integrated project team. This new link between the two provinces could be in service between 2032 and 2034. He is accompanied by MP Stéphane Lauzon. (January 30, 2025) (no interpretation)
