Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc and Justice Minister Arif Virani announce that the government will appeal a Federal Court ruling that found the February 2022 invocation of the Emergencies Act to be unreasonable and led to an infringement of Charter rights.
