PM Trudeau Announces National School Food Program – April 1, 2024

At a news conference in Scarborough, Ont., Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announces the federal government's plan to invest $1 billion over five years to create a national school food program. The government says the program, which is expected to be included in the 2024 federal budget, will aim to provide meals to an additional 400,000 children per year.
