PM Trudeau Accuses India of Supporting Criminal Activity in Canada

At a news conference in Ottawa, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addresses allegations that agents of the Indian government have engaged in criminal activity in Canada. He is joined by Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly and Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc.

Earlier in the day, the RCMP accused the Indian government of playing a role in violent criminal activity in Canada, including homicide. Canada and India have both expelled diplomats in response. (October 14, 2024) (no interpretation)
