Rally in Support of Bloc’s Supply Management Bill – October 10, 2024

MPs from four political parties attend a rally on Parliament Hill in support of Bill C-282, Bloc Québécois MP Luc Thériault’s private member’s bill to protect supply management in future trade deals. The Bloc is demanding passage of the bill, as well as another to increase seniors’ benefits, in exchange for not working with the other opposition parties to try to topple the minority Liberal government.

Among the attendees at the rally are Revenue Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau, Agriculture Minister Lawrence MacAulay, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet, Luc Thériault, NDP MP Alistair MacGregor, and Green Party MP Mike Morrice.
