Task Force Raises Concerns Over Infant Hearing Health Services – May 28, 2024

Representatives from the Canadian Infant Hearing Task Force (CIHTF) hold a news conference in Ottawa to discuss the findings from its latest national report card on health services for infants with hearing loss. The CIHTF graded the provinces and territories on the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) programs offered.

In attendance are Marlene Bagatto, assistant professor in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the National Centre for Audiology at Western University, and Claude-Anne Turmel, pediatric audiologist at Saint-Justine Hospital in Montreal. (no interpretation)
