Railway Workers At CN And CPKC Vote To Strike – May 1, 2024

The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) announce at a news conference in Ottawa that over 95 per cent of workers at Canadian National (CN) and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) have voted in favour of a strike. The votes occurred following six months of negotiations between the union and the two companies. TCRC president Paul Boucher says a work stoppage could occur as early as May 22, 2024.
