At a campaign news conference in Port Moody, B.C., NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh announces his party’s plan to offer low-interest, public-backed loans to first-time homebuyers. He is joined by NDP candidates from across the Lower Mainland, including Bonita Zarillo (Port Moody–Coquitlam), Peter Julian (New Westminster—Burnaby—Maillardville), and Jenny Kwan (Vancouver East).
