FPAC Conference: Rural Canada at a Crossroads

The Forest Products Association of Canada hosts their annual forest policy conference in Ottawa. This year's theme is "national challenges, natural solutions, and building a brighter future". Candice Bergen (former interim leader of the Conservative Party) moderates a panel discussion on how policy decisions can better reflect the needs of rural communities. The panel includes Martin Harder (author and former mayor of Winkler, Manitoba), Fawn Jackson (chief sustainability officer, Dairy Farmers of Canada), Dustin Pike (director of government affairs, Fertilizer Canada), and Eric Johnson (VP, federal government relations, FPAC).
