IIC Canada 2018 Conference – USMCA Panel

Jim Patrick, treasurer of the Canadian chapter of the International Institute of Communications, moderates a panel on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). He is joined in Ottawa by former diplomats Sarah Goldfeder (principal of Earnscliffe Strategy Group) and Colin Robertson (vice-president and fellow, Canadian Global Affairs Institute).

The new trade deal was reached on September 30, following more than a year of intense negotiations. While the USMCA has been agreed in principle, it must still be ratified by all three countries involved . (October 31, 2018)
