On March 28, 2007, Mr. Gauthier announced that he would retire from politics at the end of the parliamentary session. In this interview, he looks back on his political career, which started in 1981 in the Quebec National Assembly when he was the Parti Québécois MP for the riding of Roberval. He also talks about plans to embark on a media career upon leaving the federal political scene.
