2009 Memorial Service for Parliamentarians
Parliamentarians who have passed away since April 2008 are remembered at the annual memorial service held in the Senate Chamber, Ottawa, Ont., June 1, 2009. This ceremony is organized by the Canadian Association of Former Parliamentarians (CAFP). Speeches are presented by Noël A. Kinsella (Speaker of the Senate), Peter Milliken (Speaker of the House of Commons), and Don Boudria (acting chair of the CAFP), and representatives from the CAFP.
