Reeta Chowdhari Tremblay
Memorial University's Reeta Chowdhari Tremblay speaks at the first lecture in the Big Thinking lecture series organized by the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences (CFHSS), Ottawa, Ont., November 5, 2009. Ms. Tremblay’s presentation is entitled “Afghanistan: Canada’s Vietnam?.” Ms. Tremblay, a leading expert on South Asian politics, draws a roadmap to stability and peace in Afghanistan by examining Canada's engagement from tribal and regional perspectives while considering recent developments in Pakistan. After speaking, Ms. Tremblay fields questions from attendees.
