Right to Know: Access in Journalism
As part of this year's Right to Know Week celebrations, panellists Sean Holman (Assistant Professor of Journalism, Mount Royal University), Jayme Poisson (reporter, Toronto Star) and Justin Ling (features editor, VICE News) discuss access to information and journalism. This year in Canada, Right to Know week takes place from September 26 to October 2. The purpose of this week is to raise awareness of an individual's right to access government information and to promote freedom of information as essential to both democracy and good governence.
