TransCanada executives discuss the Energy East pipeline project. The following vice-presidents from the team leading the proposed pipeline testify: Louis Bergeron (Quebec and New Brunswick,), John Van der Put (stakeholder safety and emergency response) and Gary Houston (stakeholder engagement). Penny Favel (director of indigenous relations) also testifies. The proposed pipeline would carry 1.1-million barrels of crude oil per day from Alberta and Saskatchewan to refineries in Eastern Canada and a marine terminal in New Brunswick. (January 31, 2017)
