Prime Ministers Series: Brian Mulroney - A Green Canada
The Prime Ministers Series highlights transformative policy initiatives of Canadian prime ministers, beginning with Brian Mulroney. The Ottawa conference explores four nation-building initiatives: tax reform, the environment, the Canada-U.S. Free Trade Agreement and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). It is hosted by the University of Ottawa Professional Development Institute and the Canada School of Public Service. William Pristanski (founder and principal, Prospectus Associates), Robert Slater (adjunct professor in environmental policy, Carleton University), Pauline Browes (chair, Friends of Rouge National Urban Park) and Anne McIlroy (director, principal gifts, University of Ottawa) discuss environmental initiatives.
