Jagmeet Singh on Systemic Racism Motion, Ejection from House of Commons
Speaking with reporters on Parliament Hill, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh comments on his ejection from the House of Commons earlier in the day. During the course of debate in the House, the NDP leader was ejected after he declined to apologize for calling Bloc Québécois House leader Alain Therrien a racist; the remarks came after MPs denied unanimous consent for Mr. Singh's motion concerning systemic racism within the RCMP.
