2021 Conservative Convention – Policy Plenary (Part 1 of 2)
The second day of the Conservative Party of Canada's 2021 virtual policy convention gets underway as delegates debate and vote upon policy resolutions that will be potentially adopted as official party policy. Conservative MPs Kerry-Lynne Findlay and Pierre Paul-Hus serve as moderators for the debate. Resolutions dealing with public health emergency preparedness, empowering the ethics commissioner to punish MPs and senators, climate change, and free speech on campuses are among those being considered. Policy decisions made at the convention are expected to form the basis of the party's platform for the next federal election. (March 19, 2021) (no interpretation)
