CPAC brings viewers a detailed examination of policy matters through broadcasts of select House of Commons committees.
The committee resumes its study on how federal funding criteria affect research excellence in Canada. Also appearing as witnesses are David Freeman (Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University), Malinda Smith (Associate Vice-President, Research (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) at the University of Calgary), Yuan Yi Zhu (Assistant Professor of International Relations and International Law at Leiden University), Martin Normand (President and Chief Executive Officer of Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne) and Ken Doyle (Executive Director of Tech-Access Canada).
The members resume their study on the support for the commercialization of intellectual property with representatives from C.D. Howe Institute and International Intellectual Property Forum - Québec.
