The Walrus Talks Conversations About Canada : We Desire a Better Country

The Walrus Foundation, in partnership with the Order of Canada and Canada 150, host a national tour focusing on the future of the country. The tour visits each province and territory over a three-month period, and features 50 Order of Canada recipients and 50 youth leaders.

The tour stops at the Fredericton Playhouse in New Brunswick. Featuring: Maxwell Hartt (postdoctoral fellow, University of Toronto), Jenna Tenn-Yuk (spoken-word artist and facilitator), Margaret McCain (philanthropist and Chair for the Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation), Aaju Peter (advocate for Inuit rights), David Adams Richards (writer), Sara Abdessamie (member, Prime Minister's Youth Council), Freeman Patterson (photographer, writer, and teacher of visual design), and Jessica Bolduc (executive director, 4Rs Youth Movement).
