The Walrus Talks Conversations About Canada : We Desire a Better Country

The Walrus Foundation, in partnership with the Order of Canada and Canada 150, host a national tour focusing on the future of the country. The tour visits each province and territory over a three-month period, and features 50 Order of Canada recipients and 50 youth leaders.

The tour stops at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg. Featuring: Douglas Cardinal (architect), Jordan Tannahill (playwritght and filmmaker), Jane Hilderman (executive director, Samara Canada), Michael Decter (chair, Patients Canada), Elizabeth Dubois (assistant professor, University of Ottawa), Michael Redhead Champagne (activist and community organizer), Azeezah Kanji (director of programming, Noor Cultural Centre), and Rick Hansen (founder and CEO, the Rick Hansen Foundation).
