Katie Telford, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's chief of staff, testifies as part of the committee’s study of foreign interference in Canada's elections.
The Prime Minister's Office agreed on March 21 to allow Telford to testify, ending a filibuster from Liberal members of the committee to prevent a vote on a motion summoning her to appear. The study comes amid media reports of alleged Chinese interference in the 2019 and 2021 Canadian federal elections.
