Citizenship and Immigration - April 1, 2019 :

Representatives from a variety of community organizations appear before the committee to answer questions on settlement services for immigrants that are provided by non-traditional providers of activities. They are organizations that deal with newcomers, but aren't necessarily settlement service agencies. The organizations provide recommendations to the committee on how the government can better support their initiatives.

Appearing as witnesses are Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s Colleen Mooney and Hena Izzeddin, Fredric Roberts Photography Workshops’ Fredric Roberts, New Circles Community Services’ Rosie Smythe and Diana Gibbs, Afghan Women's Organization’s Adeena Niazi, Alberta Council of Women's Shelters’ Jan Reimer, and Zdravko Cimbaljevic as an individual.
