Special Committee on Electoral Reform - July 6, 2016

Democratic Institutions Minister Maryam Monsef appears before the committee as its first public witness.

The committee will study different voting systems to replace the first-past-the-post system. It will also examine mandatory voting and online voting. Members are scheduled to hold meetings in July and August. The committee must table its report by December 1. (July 6, 2016)
