The committee hears from Benoît Pelletier, a member of the External Panel on Options for a Legislative Response to Carter v. Canada, as well as from Jennifer Gibson and Maureen Taylor, co-chairs of the Provincial-Territorial Expert Advisory Group on Physician-Assisted Dying. The MPs and senators on the committee have until February 26 to make recommendations to the government on new legislation to allow doctor assisted suicide in Canada. (January 26, 2016)
