The Banff World Media Festival, an international conference on the state of film, television and digital content creation, takes place in Banff, Alta., from June 9 to 12.

A panel discussion is held on what recent regulatory changes mean for Canada’s film and television industry and how small, medium and large players can work together. Taking part are Anthony Q. Farrell (creator and showrunner of Canfro Productions, ULC), Jocelyn Hamilton (president of television at Lionsgate Canada), Monika Ille (CEO of Aboriginal Peoples Television Network Inc.), Troy Reeb (executive vice-president of networks and content at Corus Entertainment Inc.), and moderator Glenn Cockburn (president of Meridian Artists).

Christa Dickenson (president and CEO of the Cable Public Affairs Channel) provides opening remarks. (June 10, 2024)
