Esquimalt–Saanich–Sooke

CPAC’S Ed Watson reports on the riding of Esquimalt–Saanich–Sooke. Located on the southern end of Vancouver Island, the riding is home to CFB Esquimalt, the nation’s Pacific Coast naval base and to one of the hottest races in the country. This riding is currently held by the NDP’s Randall Garrison, who is facing a stiff challenge from David Merner who ran in 2015 as a Liberal but is now running as a Green. The Liberal is retired Canadian Forces colonel Jamie Hammond and the Conservative is dentist Randall Pewarchuk.
